Never shall I

Dip my brush

Into pools of lies

And paint pictures on my canvas.

Never shall I

Betray a trusting heart

And build a castle

Upon its ruins.

Never shall I

Forget the ones

Who stood by me

When I battled life.

Never shall I

Bring a tear to those around. 

And if I ever do,

I shall be the one

To bring a smile too.
