Winter thoughts

Bare branches,

Bereft and lost,

Gaze down at the  fallen leaves,

In remembrance of a tranquil spring

And rains that poured in joy.

Partings are the truth –

Harsh and real-

Like the ones

We will have one day

In the winter of our lives.

Till then,

Let us dance in the rain.
