Komorebi – The light that Breathes

They paint the skies – random

strokes of brush, with

spaces left for the sun to

get a glimpse of its loved one.

They sway, to the beat of

the winds – sometimes

closing in and then parting,

for the sun to kiss its beloved.

They tell us stories of the

world they see, from the skies

above, from the stars they touch.

The sunlight casts its spell.

Komorebi – the sunlight seeps

through the foliage dark,

casting shadows on the velvet green.

The forest bows in reverence.

( Komorebi – Japanese term to describe the sunlight that seeps in through the leaves )
